Served as an acting member/thought partner alongside senior level directors, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data from cross departments, Regional Executive Directors, students and alumni, in order to set goals and imperatives for 2025.

The Result:
 The 2025 plan will be shared with KIPP's Board for approval in the fall of 2019.
 

KIPP Mission and Vision Committee Member | 2018 - 2020

Served as an acting member/thought partner alongside CEO, Richard Barth, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data from students, alumni, parents, and staff in order to revamp KIPP's mission and vision.

 

The Push:

Choice filled lives/varied paths.  More than just about college. Economic stability. Activating agency and applying knowledge.

 

Results:
 KIPP now has a new working vision and mission statement that will be revealed to the board and publicly in the fall of 2019.
 

KIPP School Summit (KSS) Alumni Advisory Committee Member | 2018 - 2019

Served as a thought partner alongside other alumni to drive activities at this year's KSS using a cultural and equitable approach.

 

The Push:

 Conversational/By the Fire Side. Transparent/Honest energy. Homely. Cultural. Fun and Interactive. Thematic towards progress.

 

Results:

KSS drove new activations that successfully represented the culture and values of KIPP's nation and service. See video.
 

H.E.R. Projections | 2017

A graduate level course project that was pitched in front of Next Big Sound CEO and NYU Professor, Alex White, showcasing strategic marketing, collaboration and partnership base on solidified data.

 

The Push: 
Rnb is Everyone campaign. Influencers. Remixes. Touring globally rather than only targeting traditional local niches.

 

Results: 
90% of our group projections ended up becoming true to date. I also presented this insight to an RCA marketing manager during a job interview.

The Epic Family Lituation | 2016

A cultural- grandee music activation that emphasized pockets of hip hop/popular culture. This was a group pitch that I lead and as a team we presented to the CEO of Epic Records, Sylvia Rhone.

 

The Push:
Coasts' sounds and trends. Majority inhouse collaboration.

 

Results:
The concept was mentioned to former CEO of Epic Records, LA Reid.
 

Qings United | 2015

A women empowerment collaborative music and touring concept that I pitched to the CEO of Epic Records, Sylvia Rhone.

 

The Push:

For women to collaborate while aligning brand, sound, and promotions. For the framework to be organic, raw, and flavorful.

 

Results:

The concept was pushed up to big names such as Timbaland and Tink. In 2019, there are more women topping the charts and collaborating since the 90s, accounting for over 50% of sales.
